The issue included original and sober scientific research, as Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Ismail, Emeritus Professor of Islamic History at Ain Shams University, presented “Reading Heritage among Modern Egyptian Thinkers”, where the study aimed to approach the problem of “attitude towards heritage” and specifically, to show contemporary Egyptian thinkers’ readings of the Arab-Islamic heritage, as one of the components of Egyptian culture, and the most important dimensions of its characteristics and features.
Dr. Mustafa Ozturk, Professor of Ottoman Economic and Administrative History at the University of Democracy in the Turkish city of Izmir, stressed in his research entitled “The Ottoman Administration in the Arab Countries” that the Ottoman administration did not differentiate between the motherland and its areas of influence, as the entire territory of the country was equal in status, by highlighting the administration of the regions belonging to Miri, the states with Salyana, Egypt, and the holy places in Palestine, and concludes with the intervention of European countries, which ended with the occupation of the Arab states, and the research translated by Dr. Suhail Saban is a former professor of history at Imam Muhammad bin Saud University.
